Emma Colette is born!

I went into labor at 7:30 in the morning on Friday and delivered Miss Emma at 2:04. She weighed in at 9lbs 5.8 0z. We came home today and Kate got to meet her for the first time. She really loved putting her hat and bow on her. More pictures to come.

Valentine's Day

We started out the day at Cafe Borrone for Belgian waffles and coffees. Kate had some of our strawberries and a chocolate from Sees candy we gave her. She really loved the sugar bear on the top. Then we headed to church and Farmers Market. Back home Kate decided she wanted to wear something different and played guitar with Dave. After we put Kate down I took off for a pedicure with a girl friend and Dave made me a great dinner that night. We watched Time Travelers Wife and just relaxed. Dave took the first few pics while he was playing chef.

Last weekend my mom came into town for a tennis coaching conference at Stanford with her friend Polly and she gave Kate some red polka dot rain boots for Valentine's Day. Kate has worn them every day since she received them. Polly gave her a bow from Janie and Jack. We all went to dinner at Cafe Borrone and then Kate and I went next door to Kepler's Bookstore while Daddy, Bubby and Polly played cards.
