Kate gets a visit from Grandma and Grandpa

Chris and Dennis came last weekend. We spent Saturday afternoon hanging out at our house and then we went to Sushi at Fuki Sushi and had some great food. The next morning we went to coffee, breakfast and walked around farmers market. They spoiled us with good food, a tea set for Kate, an outfit for the new baby and Borscht (russian soup) for Dave and me. I have not had to cook since Friday so nice!

This could have been our Christmas picture had I actually sent one out....maybe next year we will send out a Christmas card but for now this will do.

2010 Happy New Year

We started off the night at the Pulsifers where Krista had prepared tortilla soup. Then we headed to the Bernardinis house for appetizers, desserts and drinks. We played three fun games and ate and talked.

Papo's 87th Birthday dinner

It was a packed house of 40 something people, but we enjoyed his annual spaghetti dinner and celebrated his special life regardless if we fit in the house.

After hours of fun Kate completely crashed out. This was the first year she got to partake of the French family Christmas party and partake she did, well we all did. Their was a feast as always and Kate and I didn't stop eating the whole time.

Christmas morning at the Denysenkos

Dave and I have never spent a Christmas morning at home and since that would be ideal for us we always celebrate Christmas before we leave to go out of town. So this year Kate knew what was going on and since we had a large present to give her we decided to give her, her gifts too. Dave made her a kitchen that aside from the burners on the stove top he finished just in time for Christmas. She loved her kitchen and pots and pans.

Jaclyn graduates from Cal Poly

We went down the weekend of the 12 to see my sister graduate. It was really rainy but we still managed to have fun staying inside restaurants, bookstores, and movie theatres.
