Lauren and I drove back Thursday to see Dave and then Friday Missie came with Sam and Adam. It was fun to get the kids together and chat about their new house. Dave came home about three and the kids were still napping so we chatted with him and then when the kids woke up he took all three of them to the park and let me and Lauren go to Starbucks. We thought he was some kind of saint! Then we went to the park and Lauren and the boys went to go get their Daddy. Dave and I got pizza and made Sangria and waited for them to come back. The next morning we headed to Santa Cruz for some coffee and shopping and ended the trip at Marianne's Ice Cream. Dave has some cute pictures on his phone of Kate eating Marianne's I will post them later. Then we headed home for naps for all of us. Mark and Lauren and Dave and I fell asleep on the couches and then they headed out. It was fun as always.

Valentine's Weekend!

I can eat cheerios or swallow cheerios we don't really know which (I only have one tooth).

Friday Kate and I went on a walk and then Dave came home with red roses and Kara's cupcakes. Saturday Kate and I made Daddy waffles, whip cream, bacon and strawberries. Then we headed to the city for Ritual coffee and lunch in the Mission District then we went on a last minute trip to Sacramento. Dave got a call from Jackson Krista's boyfriend Friday night saying he was going to propose to Krista on Valentine's Day and was having a small engagement party on Sunday so we headed to Sacramento late that afternoon. Sunday we left all the kids to nap at my parents and went to Krista's parents to celebrate. Then Dave and Mark drove back to Palo Alto and Dave took Mark to the airport in the morning. The only downside was he had to spend his day off without me and Kate and we missed him a lot while we were with Lauren and the boys. We missed him so much on Thursday we decided to come home and surprise him. We got home cleaned the house made him a special dinner and yelled surprise when he came home. He loved it. Then we had a fun two days with the Bernardinis.

8 months

Kate is eight months old now. My dad took some pictures over the weekend so I thought I would share them. She has one tooth now. She sits up and can scoot around in a circle. She loves the song Bringing home a baby bumblebee, and loves to listen to Daddy sing Pedro and the Lion and Ryan Adams on the guitar. She rocks back and forth to music. She likes the swings and Charlie. She loves attention from anyone who will give it to her. We love her.
